neutral-milk-hostel: WHEN I WAS A YOUNG BOY / MY BROTHER TOOK ME INTO THE CITY / TO SEE MURDER VICTIMS AND SOLVE HOW IT HAPPENED
The impending sulk became an actual, fairly spectacular Sherlock strop in action as he huffed, “I am never ridiculous!”
Then Sherlock did what John could only describe as flounced off.(x)
My favorite scene from the fanfic A Silver Sixpence, where Sherlock and John get married for a case, and John has the most ridiculous time having to deal with it.
Why Advanced Graphic Design is my favorite class, reason #56
We get to propose brand identities for any fictional character of our choice
(props to Creole, whose Alone on the Water business card was my primary peg for this mini project)
Look at the card I made for Creole! One of the several I’m preparing for the people coming for tomorrow’s Pinoy Sherlock Christmas gathering.
Map homework for graphic design class — now you all know where I live.
The task was to make a map starting from school to our homes no more or less than 10 steps. I decided to make my map a play on the idiom knowing the place like the back of your hand, as well as having it be a hand pointing to the right.
The frayed/hand-drawn/mishmash look is slightly based on where our teacher got the idea for the homework: somebody from a store asked him to write a map to his place on the spot for a delivery.
Have I ever told you all that I’ve made a map that points to where I live, with instructions on how to get there, and posted it online?
Please ask me if this is my first time on the internet.
This is me trying to take a stab at photography and illustration.
Alex is my ganda friend, who was kind enough to let me play around and make her wear my black lipstick and pose in the middle of a hallway in our school.
“Had we but world enough and time” is the first line from Andrew Marvell’s To His Coy Mistress, which means this is absolutely one of those things where the copy is only vaguely related to the image.
